Every time i see the tri-color waving sky high, my heart rejoices, my pride inflats ten folds than ever, Today while i was watching the President hoisting the tri-color on television, i was standing head high inside my room. I also saw a few of my ex-colleagues winning the ultimate bravery awards posthumously for the supreme sacrifice for the society and the country. I was watching another function in recognition to their sacrifices, where Salaskar's daughter said she feels an immense gap in her heart and misses her dad like hell, Mr.Unnikrishnan, father of Late Major Sandip Unnikrishnan said he loves Indian army more than ever after his son's death, reminds me of my father who always used to tell me that when someday u die for the country i'll proudly go and collect ur ashes....I had tears in my eyes while watching that, a mixture of pride, sorrow and hollowness maybe. Anyway its not the time for all that, its time to rejoice on the 60th republican day, so now i'll share our national anthem and i'll stand up, sing it loudly and type it....

Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka Jaya He
Bharat Bhagya Vidhata
Punjab Sindh Gujarat Maratha
Dravida Utkala Banga
Vindhya Himachal Yamuna Ganga
Ucchala Jaladhi Taranga
Tubh Shubha Name Jage
Tubh Shubha Ashisha Mange
Gahe Tubh Jaya Gata
Jan Gan Mangaldayak Jay He
Bharat Bhagya Vidhata
Jaye He ! Jaye He ! Jaye He !
Jaye,Jaye,Jaye,Jaye He....

For those who dont understand the language, here's the translation in english...

Thou are the ruler of the minds of all people,
dispenser of India's destiny.

The name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sind, Gujurat and Maratha.
Of the Dravid and Orissa and Bengal.

It Echoes in the hills of Vindhyas and Himalayas,
mingles in the music of Yamuna and Ganga
and is chanted by the waves of the Indian Sea.

They pray for your blessing and sing thy praise.
The salvation of all peaople is thy hand,
thou dispenser of India's destiny.
Victory, Victory, Victory to thee.

Incase a few of my fellow countrymen don't know, on 25th sep 2008 the Indian national anthem was described as the best anthem in literal ways by the UNESCO.

I was in tears when Divya Salaskar read that poem she wrote in memory of her dad :( and totally agree on what Mrs.Kamte said, our system its operators and a certain section of media had done everything they could to tarnish the images of those guys and they had to die fighting now i am sure those sick people got their appropriate replies and the thankless public who had fun reading and viewing those spicy news everyday would keep quite as well.
